With GBIF.be, explore all Open Biodiversity Data of Belgium. We contribute to the Global
Biodiversity Information Facility for more than 20 years within a steadily growing network of
countries and organizations. This brand new data portal showcases our country's contribution to the
global effort : numerous species datasets of occurrences, checklists and sampling events maintained
by a vibrant community of data publishers and data users. All this is bundled in an elegant, Jekyll
based, Open Source hosted portal delivering stunning maps and intuitive interface. GBIF hosted
portals are easily customizable for national, regional or thematic data portals.
